We hired Taylors to provide a buffet dinner for 140 guests, including 25 kids, at our recent wedding, and we were blown away by their food, service, value for money and professionalism. One month after the event we were still getting compliments on the food, with everybody saying it was the best they’d ever had at a wedding. Taylors also served our guests a welcome drink and fizz for our toasts, and kept wine and water supplies topped up on all the tables. From start to finish we felt listened to and looked after - Louisa met us in person to talk through menus and to visit the venue, and she was extremely kind, knowledgeable and flexible all the way. We had all the other wedding plans to juggle, and knowing that the food was in such capable hands took a lot of pressure off us. We hired all the wedding furniture and crockery through Taylors too, and when (despite numerous emails spelling out what we neede) the hire company delivered the wrong sized tables and plates the day before the wedding(!), Louisa swiftly came up with a Plan B that miraculously made the problem - and our stress - disappear. We’re big food lovers and it was very important to us that our guests had something super tasty and memorable to eat, whether carnivores or vegan, and Taylors really delivered. Our menu: Thai chicken, Jerk pork shoulder (BBQ'd on site), poached Salmon; Thai Vegan Jungle Curry with Jasmine Rice; Roasted Curried Cauliflower with Cumin, Chick Peas & A Coriander Lime & Mango Dressing ; French Beans Mange tout Hazelnut & Orange Salad; Tomato & Red Onion Salad; Broccoli Beetroot & Feta Salad; and Warm New Potatoes with Olive Oli & Flat Leaf Parsley. For dessert: Chocolate Brownies with Strawberries & Creme Chantilly, and Fruit Platters. Absolutely banging flavours, perfectly seasoned and spiced, with something for everyone and enough for second helpings. On the Big Day itself, Taylors arrived early and with a detailed plan and a great team; service was fantastic, unobtrusive yet efficient and involved - amazingly, all 140 guests were served within half an hour - and they quietly cleared up and left afterwards, leaving no trace except for a room full of happy, well fed guests. Value for money was superb, and Louisa, Spud and their team were all lovely, warm, people; we simply cannot recommend them enough. Thank you once again for making our special day so very special - Jo & Matthew
